Pesavento can go on IR all he wants... Fitzgerald's been the QB for the past 2 and a half games and has looked halfway decent... Pesavento won't step on a field again in the AFL.

Look daringly... if Pinnacle shut the line down and moved the o/u and spread because the backup QB is out, something's wrong... You all have GOT to know that Pesavento has been the backup now for awhile and that John Fitzgerald has been the QB... this isn't good for Pinnacle's status as AFL linesmakers at all...

Missing a backup QB isn't worth 4.5 points on the o/u and 3.5 points on the line... immediately... When you insinuated that the reason that the line moved on that game was because of injury and not because of money... which I believe because of the immediate movement instead of moving by half points and points, I jumped at you... If the reason the line moved is because Austin is that bad, then why didn't the line start there? I just don't understand your logic.

I also know that Georgia plays some of the best defense in the AFL and SHOULD blow out Austin. However, let's also remember the trap level of this game is insanely high. Georgia, VISITING Austin coming off of a massive 4 game stretch to start the season (vs. NO, @ LA, vs. Ari, @ LV) and waiting on a trip to NY, Orlando, Tampa, and New Orleans again, leads to an overlooking game. Some teams have done it more than others this year (see: Chicago), while others have withstood the test of bad teams (see: New York last week, but not the week before).

I agree: A blow out is in the cards in this one. But Georgia doesn't beat anyone by 30 points. This week will be no exception. Yes, they beat Vegas pretty bad, but they aren't going to score enough points in the average week to blow a team out. Because if they score 55, it's probably because they're in front by a TD or two and the opposing team has to onside kick to keep it close. Let's remember that they did only score 10 in the 2nd half against Las Vegas last week, which is pitiful to say the least. But the chance is there for problems for Georgia in a big way.

And to answer your QB question, I've been going to Preds games for a lot of years and I can count on my hands how many times I've seen a quarterback miss any meaningful time in a game. I'd say though, 1 out of 5 games see a single QB miss time, meaning 1 out of 10 would feature you losing your QB for any real amount of time, meaning on average, 1 and a half times per season... No reason for this line to move so much for that. A point, maybe... but 4? Never...

Let's also remember that John Fitzgerald was a (bad) starting QB last year on a good New Orleans team... And yes, I know what the difference is between a good 2nd stringer and a 3rd stringer. Some 2nd stringers are also bad (see: Joe Germaine and Rod Robinson.... who's 3rd stringer is worse than him... Craig Whelihan). Remember that teams only carry 2 QBs for the most part... the third guy is some stiff who lives in the city that they carry around to hold a clipboard, or become your offensive coordinator... Pat O'Hara.... And remember, the AFL finds diamonds in the rough all the time... guys that were backups becoming premier starters (Aaron Garcia, John Dutton, and Raymond Philyaw come to mind), and starters that fade into being career backups (John Fitzgerald and Billy Dicken). We might have found another gem in Matt D'Orazio. You never know. It's not hard to be an AFL QB... and that being said, no one knows how good or bad Dreisbach is... nor will we probably get the chance to find out.

And Fitzgerald is better than Pesavento... guy's got no arm whatsoever... At least Fitzgerald has half a clue. Watch them sign Chad Salisbury next week to start... Hello account dropping against Austin.

No, do NOT check AFLGuru's thread for *******'s picks. Post your plays here. Do not post your plays in my thread. It's called MY thread for a reason. Go away. Got it buddy? I don't want to be your friend. I don't want you on my board. I don't want your picks getting screwed up with my picks. I don't want to drink beers with you. Go away. Just stop it. Don't post again in my thread and don't hype my thread any. You know it's a more popular thread than your's and you just want to promote yourself. Stop it and go away. I hope we both get suspended for this. It's insane. Stop it. Don't you understand the words coming off of my keyboard? Stop it. Period.
