Missing a backup QB isn't worth 4.5 points on the o/u and 3.5 points on the line... immediately... When you insinuated that the reason that the line moved on that game was because of injury and not because of money... which I believe because of the immediate movement instead of moving by half points and points, I jumped at you... If the reason the line moved is because Austin is that bad, then why didn't the line start there? I just don't understand your logic.
I also know that Georgia plays some of the best defense in the AFL and SHOULD blow out Austin. However, let's also remember the trap level of this game is insanely high. Georgia, VISITING Austin coming off of a massive 4 game stretch to start the season (vs. NO, @ LA, vs. Ari, @ LV) and waiting on a trip to NY, Orlando, Tampa, and New Orleans again, leads to an overlooking game. Some teams have done it more than others this year (see: Chicago), while others have withstood the test of bad teams (see: New York last week, but not the week before).
I agree: A blow out is in the cards in this one. But Georgia doesn't beat anyone by 30 points. This week will be no exception. Yes, they beat Vegas pretty bad, but they aren't going to score enough points in the average week to blow a team out. Because if they score 55, it's probably because they're in front by a TD or two and the opposing team has to onside kick to keep it close. Let's remember that they did only score 10 in the 2nd half against Las Vegas last week, which is pitiful to say the least. But the chance is there for problems for Georgia in a big way.
And to answer your QB question, I've been going to Preds games for a lot of years and I can count on my hands how many times I've seen a quarterback miss any meaningful time in a game. I'd say though, 1 out of 5 games see a single QB miss time, meaning 1 out of 10 would feature you losing your QB for any real amount of time, meaning on average, 1 and a half times per season... No reason for this line to move so much for that. A point, maybe... but 4? Never...
